The website of the Libyan Technology Foundation and its services are available for your personal use, and your access and use of this website is subject to the terms and conditions of use and the regulations in force in Libya. Your access to the website and its services also constitutes unconditional acceptance of the terms and conditions of use, whether you are a user. Registered or not, this consent is effective from the date of first use of this site. 
Any amendment to these terms and conditions will be effective immediately upon its announcement, unless otherwise appears, and your continued use of this site after the announcement of any amendment means full acceptance of that amendment. 

1.Limitations on use 

By using the services or website of the Libyan Technology Foundation, you agree to refrain from the following: 

  • Upload or download files that contain software, materials, data or other information that is not owned by you or for which you do not have a license. 

  • Uploading or download files that contain viruses, corrupted data, or any malicious software, or doing anything that might affect the integrity, reliability, or continued availability of the information on the website. 

  • Publishing, advertising, distributing or circulating materials or information that contain defamation, violation of laws, pornographic or obscene material, violation of Islamic teachings or public morals, or any illegal material or information through the organization’s services. 

  • Using any means, program or procedure to intercept or attempt to intercept the correct operation of the organization’s website. 

  • Taking any action that imposes an unreasonable, large, or inappropriate load on the organization’s website infrastructure. 

  • Everything that is considered a violation of the anti-cybercrime law or any other relevant law in your country. 

The Use of links to the Libyan Technology Foundation website 
  • It is prohibited to create any electronic links to the website or display any of them in a frame or place their links on any website, except for placing links specific to services on sites whose objectives and general direction do not conflict with the objectives, policies and frameworks of electronic services affiliated with the Libyan Technology Foundation. 

  • The organization reserves all its rights to stop and block any link in any way from any website that is not authorized or contains inappropriate, scandalous, infringing, vulgar, pornographic, indecent, objectionable or illegal topics, or names, materials or information that violate Any system or violate any public or private rights. 

  • Publishing, advertising, distributing or circulating materials or information that contain defamation, violation of laws, pornographic or obscene material, violation of Islamic teachings or public morals, or any illegal material or information through the organization’s services. 

  • The foundation does not sustain any responsibility for the contents available on any other website accessed through this site or accessed through the foundation’s services. 

The Use of links from the services of the Libyan Technology Foundation 
  • Contact links for other services and websites are provided to facilitate the visitor. The foundation does not sustain responsibility for any contents or the credibility of the services and sites to which they are linked and has not approved their contents. Therefore, using any of these links to access websites or services that are not approved by the foundation is at the user’s responsibility. 

  • The foundation does not guarantee the process of URL links linked to other websites. 

Property rights:
  • The administration of the Libyan Technology Foundation supervises this site technically, and all contents of the site, including services and information, are the property of the foundation, and are fully protected in accordance with the Libyan laws for copyright, trademarks, and intellectual property rights. 

  • Unless otherwise stated, the website services and materials may not be sold, licensed, rented, modified, copied, reproduced, reprinted, uploaded, advertised, transmitted, distributed, publicly displayed, edited, or create derivative works thereof for public or commercial purposes. Without obtaining prior approval from the Libyan Information Technology Organization, except for scientific and research purposes and spreading awareness, it is permissible to quote on the condition of referral to the website. 

  • Any modification of any site contents is strictly prohibited. 

  • The graphics and images on this website are protected by copyright and may not be reproduced or exploited in any way, without prior written consent from the Libyan Technology Foundation. 

Termination of use 

The foundation may, in its absolute discretion, terminate, restrict or suspend the user’s right to access and use the website’s services without notice and for any reason, including violation of the terms and conditions of use or any other behavior that the foundation may consider, in its discretion, illegal or harmful to others. In the event of termination, the user will not be authorized to access these services. 

Judicial reference 

The user is subject to the judicial systems applied in Libya or in the resident country. 

Limitation of liability 

The electronic services provided by the Libyan Technology Foundation website to the public and various government agencies are provided only to facilitate manual procedures. Thus, the user acknowledges his full knowledge that communication via the Internet may be subject to interference or interception by third parties, and that the website and its services do not replace the information available through the agencies. Official requests and administrative procedures can be taken directly before the competent authorities, and accordingly; Resorting to this site remains at the user’s responsibility, and the foundation is in no way responsible for any losses or damages of any kind that the user may incur, or his reliance on any statement, opinion, or announcement on the site, or resulting from any delay in operation, Or faltering connections, or problems accessing the Internet, or equipment or software malfunctions, or the behavior or thoughts of any person who accesses this site. The user hereby acknowledges and agrees that this is his sole and exclusive means of remedying any damage or loss that may occur as a result of his access or use. This website is to refrain from using or accessing it or not to continue doing so. 

Viruses’ protection 

The Libyan Technology Foundation makes every effort to examine and test the contents of the website, and the user must commit to running anti-virus programs in all materials that he downloads from the website. The foundation has no responsibility for any losses, interruptions, or damage to the user’s data and devices, when using the website, or Materials received from it. 

Waiver of claims 
  • The Libyan Technology Foundation website and the services, information, materials and functions available on it, or that can be accessed through it, are provided to the user “as it is” and “as available” without any acknowledgment, promises or guarantees of any kind and the organization cannot guarantee or assume responsibility. For any interruptions, errors or omissions that may arise from the use of this website, its contents or any website linked to it, whether with or without its knowledge. 

Compensation 

The user acknowledges not to take any actions against the organization, its employees, or those responsible for managing, maintaining, updating, or providing the site services, and to exempt them from all obligations, responsibilities, and compensation arising from the use of the services, whether the violation on his part of the terms and conditions of use, or any of the applicable regulations, whether in Libya. Or the place where he resides, or otherwise. 

Standards for comments and electronic participation:

All comments added to electronic participation channels are subject to a filtering process to ensure that the commenter adheres to the standards and controls for publishing comments. The administration has the right not to publish any comments that it deems inappropriate for publication, noting that the standards for publishing comments include the following: 

  • The commentator must adhere to public morals, Libyan regulations, and Islamic teachings, and avoid using any inappropriate expressions or indecent words.

  • Stay away from sectarian strife and avoid getting involved in any racist issues or sectarian differences. 

  • Be sure when writing from (Quran) or religious opinions, and it is preferable not to delve into them except from specialists. 

  • Avoid writing any personal information, including any contact information.
